Struggling in Silence 

As part of a small team, I helped produce a news segment that explored the growing student cost of living crisis, a subject that felt incredibly personal and relevant. From the very beginning, I was heavily involved in shaping the direction of the story, identifying real student voices to feature, and researching the broader context to ensure it was both engaging and informative. I took the lead on filming, operating the camera during on-location interviews and capturing supporting footage to help bring the story to life. Back in the editing suite, I oversaw the post-production process, weaving together visuals, soundbites, and graphics to create a final piece that felt polished and impactful. Seeing our work broadcast felt like a real achievement and confirmed my passion for telling important stories in a creative, thoughtful way.
